Torque limiter Series 400

The Series 400 torque limiter is the solution for applications where free wheeling is demanded to prevent machines and drive line from wear and corrosion.
These torque limiters are built with double set drive balls held within drive plate and slide plate with spring sets that can be adjusted to the torque needed.
In case of jam or overload, the torque limiter trips at the set value and remains in free wheeling condition until it is reengaged manually or by reverse operation.

The Series 400 torque limiters are designed to run completely free after disengagement, but it is recomended to install a shut down switch to avoid excessive wear. The limit switch can be activated by the couplings axial displacement at overload.
